Helping a dog in need (UPDATE)

Postby miasmum » 01 Oct 2013, 22:46

You probably wouldn't remember, but on the day I had Mowgli put to sleep, I had a delivery of his liver tablets. I put them on ebay but no buyers, and I keep meaning to ring the rescue centres to see if they wanted them.

I have just had an email via ebay to ask if I had sold them as they had taken a rescue in with liver disease and would be happy to buy them. I said no worries about buying them if I can help another cat I am glad to and this is the reply

Hi,

Really? OMG - thank you so much, it's for a dog - she only weighs 9kg so I'm sure I can juggle the tablets size wise. She's been so ill. On a day that's been very tough and people being horrible, you've just made me cry with your kindness. Thank you so, so much.

So glad I kept them and now I am going to bed with the feel good factor

Just had an email to say her bloods are improving and provided she can get her well, she has a home waiting for her

It just goes to prove that often what to us appears to be a small thing in life can make such a huge difference to someone else.

I'm glad the tablets have gone to good use; and hopefully they will help another furry creature
