Hence, probably, the nPower increase is just in line with what everyone else is doing.
Currently raw material prices for power generation is running ahead of wage inflation. Ergo power costs are going to go up and wages are not.
That isn't going to change and forcing companies into loss making situations just means money out of the public purse and still no real reduction in energy costs.
We all want good wages, good homes, good lives. In order to have that things have to cost more.
