I am out of the habit of breadmaking at the moment - I am just so busy! Work is very busy and I am going in on Thursday mornings for a while which only leaves me a Friday off (plus Monday and Thursday afternoons). This Friday I am off on the primary school trip (governors perks - I think!!!) and next Friday I am having to work instead of the Thursday as Thursday is adoption panel day.

I must start making bread again - even if it is just in the breadmaker.

I will need to start my starter dough off again from scratch I think as I haven't used or fed him for ages.

Oh Di my mum makes the most wonderful bread and cakes.

When I was 3 we moved to a new housing estate and mum was (when I look back) a bit of a pioneer in that she started the first 'playgroup' and of course, mum being mum and very sociable, soon had a network of new young mum friends who always seemed to be in our kitchen supping tea as mum made cakes and bread.

Very happy memories.
