Loved Abbey and Aljaz, my dance of the evening

Sophie's centre core is very weak, she collapses into it and it showed last night. Shame as I love Brendan's choreography.

Loved Artem's choreography too, but just can't warm to Natalie at all. It's all danced extremely well, but it's cold. The judges are quite right when they say there's no connection. Makes their dances instantly forgettable.

Quite liked Patrick last night, okay a bit fierce, but stylish nonetheless. Apart from his flatfeet, it's just something about Patrick himself I'm not keen on, he always seems to look down his nose in an arrogant sort of way when being spoken to. Of course it could just be the way he comes across, but it grates.

Really liked Ashley and Ola, but have a nasty feeling they'll be out tonight.

As for Suzanna and Kevin, oh dear an Argentine tango it wasn't I still have a sneaking feeling they're going to walk off with the glitter ball though.........really hope not

Completely agree with all you say Jen, except I do like Patrick, but not his flat feet.

Kevin's inexperience with the AT really showed in the poor choreography of their dance. I really enjoyed Brendan and Sophie's dance, it was different and clever, although I accept she is not the best dancer. Natalie and Artem - no connection, no warmth between them, he emphasised the flamenco far too much and thereby there was not enough proper Paso, Len was right about Natalie swishing her skirt about. Quite honestly I don't know who will win and I don't care too much anyway. For me this has been a very underwhelming season and I think the BBC needs to make some serious changes to the programme.

I must confess. Osc, that I feel very much as you do - maybe because we know more about the technicalities of ballroom dancing
than the average viewer, and the programme is getting more into show dancing, which is why Len gets a little uptight sometimes.

Nevertheless I do find the programme quite entertaining. The professional dancers' displays are great, and the lighting effects of
the new studio are simply spec-tac-u-lar.

I have loved this series, no outright winner from week one for a start. What changes would you like to see Osc? Have to admit I preferred it when they all did the same dance so you could judge them. I also get bored of salsa, samba, cha cha, they all look the same to me.

I have loved this series, as with all of them. The only real change I want is that Brucie should retire.

Like MM I liked it when the couples would dance either one dance or another, so you could judge them against each other. Now it is just a hotchpotch of dances.

I am disappointed with the Argentine Tango generally. I know it is a new dance to most of the professionals, but like the American Smooth it has been in the show long enough for the professionals to brush up on their technique.

We've enjoyed this series a lot, but agree it's time for Brucie to go. It's a shame really as he's been a fantastic entertainer over the years, sadly as happens so often he can't see he's overstayed his welcome. I really do wish his wife would steer him into retirement although I'm not sure how she could do that without hurting his feelings

As for a winner, well we're firmly on team Abbey and Aljaz. Didn't expect to like her at all, but considering she has no musical/dance background it's been wonderful to see her improve week by week. Having said that I've a decidedly soft spot for Brendan and like Sophie so would be happy to see them do well

Still think it will be Suzanna and Kevin.........and yes they should have gone this week

What changes would you like to see Osc?

Well, I would like to see Bruce go for a start and maybe then we could do away with all the homosexual innuendo with Bruno and with Craig to a lesser extent. It's supposed to be a family show I think Tess and Claudia have been doing a pretty good job.

I dislike the mixture of dances too - much easier to judge when they are all doing the same dance, either ballroom or latin. This year I don't like the addition of the background dancers either. I miss some of the pros who have left, but that's my problem! The BBC camera work is terrible, you only get to see how their fancy camera can whizz around while we don't get to see enough of the actual dancing. I also wish they would stop pretending that Sunday's show is live.
