Another ITV3 find!!

Postby Ally » 01 Jan 2014, 22:36

I always seem to miss so many programmes on ITV that I'm luckily now finding on ITV3.

My latest discovery is the fantastic The Suspicions of Mr Whicher.

Paddy Considine (excellent) and the as always superb Olivia Colman.

:P :P :P

Yes, we saw that as well tonight Ali, although for us it was a repeat viewing.

We had started watching the Sherlock Holmes but declared it "rubbish" after 6 minutes and turned over to ITV3. I can't understand why there is so much hype over Benedict Cumbernauld or whoever he is, as I think he's far inferior in the Holmes role to Jeremy Brett .....

He does me too Ally :o :?

The Suspicions of Mr Whicher was fab, we saw it first time round. Did you ever see the original one, that was actually based on a very ghoulish true murder! If not you should try to see it :D No Olivia Coleman in that one though........

I'd never even heard of it until I stumbled upon it last night Kaz..both Don and myself were gripped from the very beginning.

It was very stylish and excellently acted.

That Olivia can't half act..the way she can just cry and look so sad.

I'll look out for the original one.

Don has this idea he wants to cut down on the beer for the month of January so I could be doing some serious viewing!
