We use Advocate monthly during the Summer months, but only every other month during the winter.

If however we are going on holiday to some place where he might pick up Ticks, we give use Frontline instead.

Advocate is also effecting against Ear Mites.

We obtain both from the Vets.

Well, I've found a way around the going to the vets every three months palava - get a prescription from them. They're charging £10 for a repeat prescription which will last for 12 months. I pay around £40 for a pack of 3 Advocate doses every three months. Online, with a prescription, I can get a 6 dose pack for £22.99.

I could understand taking him to be weighed every 3 months to check he's getting the correct dosage if he was still growing or was overweight but he's neither.

I did find that bit quite odd to be honest Jo... and buying online does work out loads cheaper usually. Glad you found a way around it :)
