It sure does Kaz, but I suspect that whatever is done there will never be enough prospective adoptive parents. Perhaps not enough people are informed enough to even think about getting involved - a high-profile recruitment drive might not go amiss.
My ex B/Sil did fostering for a number of years. They once had a couple of young boys of about four and six and it broke their hearts when they had to be split up..... it almost sent Y into clinical depression. They also had a young girl not much older than their own daughter and the two were inseparable. When she had to go they really did think about adoption but eventually realised that it would be for the wrong reason - to get their daughter a sister.
Debih, I thought that the boys in the prog had a clean bill of mental health, or was that just what I wanted to believe?
