Not Before Time

Postby KateLMead » 30 Jan 2014, 07:54

How much more have the residents of flooded areas got to put up with.. They have had a token of help, but quite frankly
These communities have been the "V"s up sign and told to get on with it!
As stated I have been a life long supporter of the Cons' a good name for them, but never again.
The Libs have always been a No!No! And as. For Labour...Never! These wastes of space have nothing to recommend them other than the gift of lying through their teeth.
God knows how much is given to India in Aid, Syria, Africa, Philippines, countries equally if not more corrupt that our own little of which gets to the needy, yet our own indigenous
Are left, "not high and dry. but High and Wet"
It has taken me almost a life time to realise just how corrupt, uncaring, inept, and self serving our political so called guru's
are.
Now the army is going in. "Raise the European flag."
I am glad that the Syrian women and children are going to be helped.
But this wretched government and all those MP 's who are more interested in their directorships, off shore accounts
Than the welfare of the villages and those who have suffered immeasurably from floods due to shameful neglect
Of the waterways and lack of protection from the onslaught of the terrible floods.
I have not that much faith in UKIP, however I shall vote for them with the hope that the people of this country
Will stand up and start to fight the injustices and corruption that is rife in what was once England.
One only has to listen to PMQ's to see and hear what rabble is in government supposedly with the Peoples welfare at heart.

I can't add much to those comments. Kate, except to say
that I agree with everything you say.

I agree with all of it too, except I have never voted Tory and certainly would never vote UKIP! Fascists by the back door IMO :(

No bigger fascists than Labour Kaz, we have been advanced to a Communist State, I mention Common Purpose again
Supporters include Balls, members along with those in senior positions in both the Conservative Labour and Liberal's along with other members of the Labour and Conservative Party and indeed the hierarchy in the police force and all government departments . I am sure that many are aware of the direction this country is going.

PMQs is a national embarrassment; it is like a playground argument in infant school. It started downhill under Bliar and continues. Why it isn't abandoned is beyond me, it serves no governmental purpose whatsoever.

As for the Army in the Somerset Levels. I did wonder whether it could help or if it was just a show for the media, after all you can only pump away so much water into already bloated rivers before all that is happening is that it is recycled. I see that the Army has decided to stand aside and allow others to do their thing and keep out of their way.

The country is increasingly (Imo) being run by a new, "strategic" type of manager. They see themselves as an elite, not least because of the money they draw. Many of them have been on "Common Purpose" courses; you can find them in all part of the public sector, NHS, councils, Police, etc. But also in fake charities, think tanks, Quangos and the like. They never stand for election.
This is why the police are under pressure to let "outside experts" be recruited to help run police forces. At the moment every Chief Constable has to start at the bottom and work their way up. To achieve proper control of the police that's no good. The job is nearly done by the politicisation of senior officers and the "independent" Police Commissioners.
But when a Common Purpose, "strategic" manager (who has never worked as a police officer) can be flown straight in at the top of the tree, the end of the police as an independent body will have been accomplished.

Yes Yes Yes!!! Thanks Cromwell you are the first to acknowledge my concerns about this creeping organisation whose students are taught by graduates of NLP and are consequently heading and saturating all departments of importance including government positions. Thanks again Cromwell for your post and views on this organisation. The. New World ORDER..

Saw someone on TV yesterday from the River authority saying they had "money on the table last year for dredging" No mention that they had done any dredging to any of the rivers. Just another quango trying to shift the blame.

Would I be correct in thinking that it is easier to install one "right thinking" individual than it is a group of them, as with, say, the committee of a Local Police Authority?

Common Purpose and Bilderberg are working behind the scenes to ensure that the chosen ones of the elite, from whichever side of the political or business spectrum, remain (or are put) in place.
