I agree Saundra, we need another update on these two! That was a lovely house that they bought as well.

Joe had a friend in his class at junior school, Oli, and his sister Holly was in Tom's class. They emigrated to New Zealand in 2008 but came back the following year and by chance their old house was up for sale again so they bought it and it was like they'd never been away  And then 18 months later, they emigrated again...and they came back again too!
Guess where they are now??? Back in NZ...and I've since found out, because their Mom and I have a mutual friend, that they'd tried emigrating before so this is actually their fourth emigration!!

  Good grief - poor kids :?

I would love to know how she gets on (not him, the waste-of-space) in future! I hope she doesn't take him back again, but they do seem one of those couples  :? She could do a lot better!

It costs a fortune to move in this country! Must waste an awful lot to keep yo-yoing back and forth to Oz

They're a strange family anyway, very showy people. Kaz, Mick would be shouting "bingo" a lot if he ever met the father
I'll always remember the one year that the school had International Day, where the kids had to dress as someone from another country and most boys went as cowboys...Oli turned up in full Scottish dress, the white shirt that laced on the neck, kilt, sporran, long socks and fully functioning bagpipes which he played as he walked across the playground at the end of the day.
On birthdays too it was customary to take sweets in to share with the class, those mini bags of Haribo usually...L used to show up with 30+ elaborately decorated homemade cupcakes.

Monday's show, with the miserable midwife, is now on iPlayer so it's now on my TV :P

There was a family from Penkridge, which is the next village across the fields from us, on the last series but it doesn't look like there'll be a revisit done for them.
