The twerp Cameron consistently supported Miller, an expenses cheat, and steadfastly did not sack her.
After she begrudgingly fell on her sword at long last, Michael Fabricant, Conservative MP for Lichfield, subsequently tweeted that it was a good thing she had resigned. He also, in passing, strongly opposes HS2 as it's going to cause immense damage and pain to his constituency.
He was told yesterday to resign as a Tory vice-chairman - and then when he refused, Fabricant was sacked!! Why? For being a good local MP who supports his constituents and speaks his mind!
The Conservative party is a shambles; I have nothing but contempt for it. I have not voted for it for years now, and nothing I see in it today would change my mind.
