If Spurs get one more point, or the Mancs drop one, they will not play any sort of Euro football next season. They cannot even get a wild-card entry through the Fair Play league as they are in the bottom five.

A season of EPL domestic football in a mid-table team will not be a draw for the prima donnas of world football - players or managers. Also, any approach by the Mancs for a player will send his price sky-rocketing.
