Filecleaner a tool to avoid

If you have Windows7.

I decided it was time to clean my machine of old files, historical garbage from a host of cached files from many different programs.

After a bit of research and review reading, I downloaded Fliecleaner and set it to moderate settings.

After which my IE failed to work, Outlook failed to work, in fact it managed to break pretty much everything that relies on .net in my whole machine.

After doing an "Upgrade" reinstall of Windows7 I find myself back with a leaner and cleaner machine, but a few bits a pieces to resolve which have been lost.

This software is now sitting in the corner (figuratively), covered in barge pole marks... I thought I'd leave a word of warning before deleting it and forgetting it.

Thanks for the warning. Don't think I will be bothering.
