Octopus

Mick has come home with a load of octopus and I can't decide what to do with it (other than struggle to clean it with still not having a kitchen sink )

Any ideas?

I would have to google some recipes as I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it.

Is it actual octopus, or is it squid Debih?
There's quite a difference; as far as I know, octopus is tough and needs careful cooking (bashing on rocks rings a bell!) but yes, google
Squid is lovely and once cleaned would freeze fine. It needs either very quick cooking - a minute or two - or else quite long cooking; in between it's chewy.
Nigel has some good recipes, or BBC good food probably
Cleaning etc is a bit of a faff but not too bad - get the instructions online and get Mick to do it

I think I'd be tempted to tell him if he wants it he can look after it
Squid is lovely, octopus, ok if it's been cooked right...wouldn't want a load of it though.
