Hi Shaz,

Yep I'm guessing that the North and Midlands votes are the middle finger to the bosses message....

Stacking up as leave. What has interested me was the strength of some of the leave votes. I'm sitting here in FIFE and 41% for leave... Where did that come from. Ditto 40% in Dundee or even more the virtual 50:50 in Moray, Salmonds area, which nobody took onboard....

BTW did anyone else clock the Boston vote? Boston is the Murder capital of the UK and they are virtually ALL EU related. 75:25, no surprise, my daughters won't go near the town now...

That surprised me too, Suff. I thought that the remain vote would be far stronger in Scotland. Tbh, I thought it would be stronger in the Uk as a whole. I fully expected Remain to win by at least 5%.

I'm just sitting here waiting to see that ~500k difference tip over towards 1M. It's going to need to with the Birmingham and London votes to come.

I was surprised by the Oldham vote and some of the others in the West Midlands. Especially the size of some of them.

Shaz, all the family up here is solidly Remain so I never really got a feel about the potential for Leave. Ditto all our dancing friends were concerned about Leave.

I do think there has been some disengagement in Scotland about the vote. Also the Scottish position of better out of the UK where we are one of 4 and better in the EU where we would be one of 28/9, was the SNP's weakest argument in the Indyref. So it can't be easy for them to make that same argument again to those who didn't believe it at the time of Indyref.

Literally those who bought that argument in Indyref are unlikely to have changed their minds so easily.
