Well that depends on how you look at it.
If you believe that the job of UKIP was to get us a vote, then you are right. If, however, you believe that the job of UKIP is to enact the vote, force the leave and then ensure the UK gets a good deal and a workable exit, as I do; then the UKIP job has only just begun....
As I've said about the EU, the government is not fit for purpose and it will have to be totally destroyed before it can be re-made in a mould which works. I believe we are about to realise that the same is true of the UK government.
Chaos? We've seen nothing yet. I wonder who will blink first. Those who want to run away from the challenge and hide in the wings of the broken and undemocratic EU, where the commission is now talking about forcing the rest of the EU to take the Euro? Or those who believe we need to do what has to be done to get the best deal for the UK in the entire world....
Time will tell.
I notice that, step by step, the value of the pound is clawing it's way back against the Euro. Three steps forward two steps back. But as this drags on the markets will remember that they are there to make money, that nothing is changing this month or this next 6 months and that the UK economy and the UK businesses are one of the strongest in the world and one of the best places to make money.
It's been 3 working days. If it's still chaos in 3 months then we'll have legitimate cause to complain.
There are 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand Binary and those who do not.
