Oh didn't see that Saundra, but then Ray Donovan was on at 9 and I had to have my weekly eyeful of Liev Schrieber ;)

That sounds good, we were watching something about the new night service on the Tube at that time I think.

Ohhhhh it was the most fantastic thing I think I have ever seen on my telylbox! :D :D :D

It was filmed in real time, the local little bus that leaves Richmond (one of my fave ever places) and goes into the Dales to Reeth and beyond, over the Pennines and back towards Hawes in Wensleydale. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking - it's a two hour journey one way although the bus doesn't rush....little snippets of information popping up throughout, but best of all....total silence save for the very quiet hum of the bus engine and a few quiet voices as the passengers board and leave.

Whoever thought this idea deserves a medal. My favourite programme of the year, without a doubt!

We watched this earlier - it was really, really lovely!
Jo walked into the room, took one look at the TV and said "What are you watching?" Two minutes later he was glued to the screen

I've got this recorded. :D :D

There is a lot of crud on TV - but there are also some right little gems that seem to get tucked away and not advertised.

A couple of weeks ago Kate Humble did a programme about her dog Teg to see if it had the makings and hereditary to be a sheepdog. Didn't look much to write about in the listings but had me totally hooked from start to finish. :D

Ditto a programme the other night on ITV3 about dogs and in particular training a labrador puppy to be a guide dog. Martin Clunes narrated it and it was just a lovely programme.

Also on Monday night I watched a half hour thingy on 'slebs' going back to their old houses. It featured Nigel Havers (sigh  ) and it was interesting seeing the different houses (and prices!) in London that he had lived in.

I saw the last ten minutes of the Nigel Havers programme, and wished I'd seen it all :) Might look for it on catch up :) 8-)

I really must catch this bus trip though, on iPlayer - I loved living in North Yorkshire, such a beautiful place! :D 8-)

Do!

I dunno you might not love it as much as me but I am still thinking about it - I've even (in a quiet spell at work) gone onto Google maps and 'followed' the road for a bit - I know I'm just a saddo

Mind you - my tweet about it was one of those featured in the Yorkshire Post's comments from people all over the country! :D
