That's interesting, Frank. What made you change your mind?
Aggers, I have not changed my mind. I said all along that I would still like us to Remain in the EU, but we had a referendum and the majority decided that we should Leave. My belief is that in the spirit of democracy we should now Leave, after all it is what we freely voted for. I also hope that had we voted Remain some Leavers would also have accepted the result.
Having said that I am also now a total Leaver - no half measures - negotiations are for later. Leavers voted to Leave. It was a simple choice on the ballot paper, but what we are now seeing is that 'Leave' apparently meant whatever the easiest, least disruptive, form of 'Leaving' was, and I cannot even begin to tell you how much I despise that.
Given the opportunity I would force Leave into the hardest of hard Brexits because that is what they voted for. I am diametrically opposed to the Gina Millers, and her ilk, who want to suspend, delay or overturn the referendum result. I want us to go full speed ahead to the crash site and then sort out the mess sometime after, as I believe that it will prove less painful in the long run.
I might be wrong, but none of us is certain of the future.
