There's an elderly chap down here, who, despite being "on the spectrum", is often out and about on his own and seems to travel to Salisbury on a Saturday, where he's been boarding the same train as me on a couple of occasions, around 6:00 in the evening when I've been returning home from the footie.
As the train comes in, he gets a bit agitated and starts asking people: "Help me, help me ...." (It can be a bit confusing at Salisbury because (a) the platforms get switched and (b) the train also divides into two portions, front for Exeter and the back for the railway depot.)
Just before Christmas, he latched on to me and wanted me to hold his hand and lead him to the train. It was a bit
in front of quite a lot of boarders, but what can you do? You've got to help, really .....
Kaz, I bet you'll be in for an increased number of visits from the Jehovah's Witnesses, now you've apparently been Beatified .....
