Hot and sunny, getting hotter every day and will be like this for the next 5 months.

#bonkers day 1. Don's picking me up just after 11 and we're nipping over for an hour to see mum and dad...trying to get as many visits in as possible as they go home on Sunday.

Have a fabby day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely warm day - even the pool is warming up :Hi:

Seems like only last week your parents arrived Ally

Pootling inside today, washing machine on already and I'll sort out the winter and summer clothes. Although we are expecting a huge, very heavy thunderstorm on Thursday, so will keep a cardi.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally, their visit seems to have passed in a flash! xxx

Jan, as soon as I packed my woollies away the cold weather came back, so be careful :P :cute:

Having said that, it's bright if a little bit chilly so far today - set to warm up, and at least no rain is forecast. I'll be out all day, as I'm walking into town for a cuppa, with Sue from next door, for a cuppa and a catch up this morning, then seeing D at lunchtime, and finally going with Em this afternoon to catch up with an old friend from Pilates, who had to stop coming to class to get her florists business off the ground. She's the lady who did the lovely tribute for our Di last year. Em and I are meeting her for coffee. So a busy day, and I'll certainly get my steps in as all that involves walking in a very big loop! Em still can't drive without pain, so I'll be walking from D's near the city, up to Barnwood

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all. Dull and misty here.
I'm going to bake some bread this afternoon when MrsC is up at our daughters. This morning I may go into Horbury to get a wine box from the Co-op.
They have a free car park there!
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bit dull and overcast at the moment, think it's supposed to brighten later.

Yesterday's appointment was interesting, apparently ultrasound is contraindicated over steel ie my new hip, so much for the consultant's referral  Amy the physio agrees the muscle is very weak and has given me a new set of exercises. Will have to see how it goes, all the pulling about made me very sore resulting in a bad night. I'm booked to see her again when I get back from my holibobs.

Busy day ahead, hairdresser at 10.30, hoping it's not too manic today. This afternoon we're off to the cinema to see Avengers: Endgame, beyond exciting, can't wait to see how it all ends.

Have a good day :D

Good morning all!

Yesterday was busy so I didn't get to check in. Me and Joe did a bit of running around in the morning after I'd walked Bill - charity shop, town to pick a few things up and then onto see my Dad as it was his 86th birthday - then the afternoon saw Bill getting another walk and I then mowed the lawns and tidied the borders. After dinner we walked Billy again and then did some tidying in the garage as there were heaps of cardboard from the various items of furniture we've had since the last recycling day so we broke all of that down, bundled it up and it was nearly 10pm by the time we sat down. I'm now waiting to see if the bin men take it as there's a rather a lot!

Today Bill's had his walk and there's more washing being done. John went on a site visit near Wolverhampton first thing and called back home for a coffee on his way to a meeting in Stoke later this morning. It was pointless him heading in the opposite direction and going to the office afterwards, he'd have got there just at the time he'd have needed to leave for Stoke.

Joe's in college and Tom's alarm has just gone off so I don't know what he has planned. It was gone 2am when he got in from work and he doesn't usually set an alarm unless he has plans.

I'm waiting for a call from the Sue Ryder shop. I've enquired online about them collecting a couple of bookcases and the sofa bed so they're calling to arrange a time.

Jen, both Tom and Joe have been to see that this weekend. They both really enjoyed it.

Have a good day all!

Morning all - gosh you've all been busy

Ally I can't believe the parentals are heading back this weekend - that has just flown by. How is your dad doing?
Jo, pity you don't live closer - I'd have that cardboard off you for the allotment; it's perfect weed suppressant for the winter; once the beds are cleared; put the cardboard and then a layer of manure and let the weather and worms do the rest - super!
Jen, enjoy the movie
Kaz that's a lot of walking. I need to remember to check my fitbit before I go to bed; checked this morning and yesterday I did 9996 steps, so just 4 short of that 10 000 I try for
Jan, keep some winter clothes out - otherwise you may jinx it! :D
Crommers - fresh bread; yum - what type are you making?
Saundra hope you have a lovely day

Its a usual / usual one for me so far. Bossman from our US office just arrived in the office so it'll be a busier / buzzier day for everyone else; but I sit very separate so have peace and quiet :D

Sunny but nippy here and really quite desperate for some rain - just not Saturday please as we're having Thomas's 16th birthday BBQ

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Afternoon all, I am sitting in a shopping centre killing time as the car is in for a service and pre-MOT check, hopefully it will be ready in about two hours - I had the car in before 9.30 but it would be too messy to go home and back on public transport. The guy rang me to tell me how much it will cost :? I’ve bought some bits and pieces and am now sitting in a cafe reading my book.
