Those chillies were rather hot too

We have had many discussions about lunch, dinner or tea.

My lunch is at lunchtime, my dinner is a night.

Grumpy, then he was working, had breakfast at 10.00 and dinner  at 1.00, then came home for more dinner or tea in the evening.

He will keep reminding me that you had dinner ladies at school, not lunch ladies

True, but if you took sandwiches instead of having a hot dinner you carried them in a lunch box

Not in my day, Jo, we had sandwich boxes.

Gert big metal things they were, and the sarnies were substantial beasts of corned beef, boiled ham or my favourite, drippimg. ;)

But I agree - breakfast, dinner, tea and supper.

Lunch is just a made up word, and don't get me started on 'brunch'.... It's for lazy people who get up late. Too late for breakfast, but hungry enough to need food before dinner. ;)

Oy you! We have brunch out on Saturdays - only because I can't have brekkie before the Fatfighters meeting :P :cute:

Never liked it myself.

Nor did I enjoy the lard which the eggs and bacon had been cooked in, poured over my breakfast
