Saundra your Dr's surgery will be the best place to ask. It will have its own website where you have a secure login and also a list of chemists it uses. You will probably have to go to reception for the details and if it is anything like mine there will be someone there to help set you up and talk you through what to do. Don't forget to take your Kindle with you.

Another thing, send me the name and address of the Doctor's Surgery and I'll look at their system to see what's what. Do it by PM - Don't put it on this thread.

Saundra, I checked with my current surgery and then my old one, plus a few other local ones, and all of their websites (all different layouts) say that to use the electronic prescription service - the new system from April 1st - you or a nominated person have to go to the surgery to get your username and password.

Ask yours if that is the case and what identification you might need. Using the website is pretty standard, but logging in needs a secure username and password which they provide you with.

No message as yet, Saundra. Yes, I would go to the doc's and let them help as all systems are slightly different. They should have someone to talk you through and get you started.

From April 1st you can't get a prescription from the drs via the chemist you have to go one line or take a prescription in to see I'm talking repeat prescriptions

So. Now iv got the nhs website my drs are using and receptionist told me over the phone today I can use my kindle via Google play but it's not working for me im confused to say the least sigh
