I rang them over the weekend and they seemed to think he would be popping into clinic today, but they hadn't given him an appointment!! As I say a complete shambles, nobody had considered that a 5hr round trip for half a dozen stitches wasn't practical. Anyway I rang our surgery yesterday, they had no information either, but immediately swung into action and we had a call from the District Nurse who will be with us some time today. I also mentioned our flu jabs, they're doing a by appointment only system this year and because we have to isolate for the next 14 days I wanted to see if I could arrange a suitable date. Enzo the receptionist said he would pass it on to the team so we were more than a bit surprised when the door bell went an hour or so later and it was the practice nurse come to jab us both. Now that is good service.
