You really can't make it up

Postby JanB » 01 Dec 2020, 19:30

We were sat outside the front of the house, enjoying the sun and having a beer - well, it's a holiday here 8-)

The idiot next door - and that's me being polite  8-) - lit his first fire in the fireplace today.

The smoke was unbelievable   It stank too. Daft prat probably used wet wood.

He then appeared on the roof  trying to put some netting around his chimney   We could hardly see him, because of the smoke

Grumpy did, but the smoke was so thick, he couldn't see us.

It could be that his chimney needs sweeping Jan.
Why would he be putting netting around his chimney?

Birds, Crommers, they like to nest in the warmth. Even though ours is netted, we still get bits of grass etc coming down the chimney.
