A quick run then meeting a friend at 11 to give her her birthday present.

Meeting another two friends at 2.30 for lunch at Gambrinus.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Grey skies but no rain and it is warmer as there is no wind.
Have been to Tesco for some shopping as it will get busy later.
Now going to have breakfast and rad the paper.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Balmy and mild this morning Sun at the moment, cloud this afternoon  But we're in for a rather warm week or so. 22C forecast for Sunday :Hi:

Hope D is feeling okay this morning Kaz xx

At the moment  I have no side effects, apart from two very slightly achey arms, so I'll carry on as normal   and do the curry for Saturday, get some washing done and will head out to the garden later. Oddly, I do feel as if I'm heading for a cold

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.
Blue skies here atm.
Shortly we are going to get a paper and a few bits and bobs.
Has D has picked up a bit Kaz? Hope your achy arm improves too Jan.
I had a bit of bad news last night; a friend from school days passed away.
I suppose the lesson is enjoy every day as much as you can.
Have a good day all.

Not sure what we're doing today, I fancy walking over to the garden centre, but I have a couple of phone calls to make so we'll see how the day goes.

Hello all, good afternoon

well, busy morning; 8am PCR test due to being pinged yesterday....hopefully have the results by tomorrow but at least I don't have to isolate ;-) Back home to ongoing IT issues that still haven't been resolved, then our annual compliance training. I really need to get into town at some point to chose new frames for reading glasses. I had chosen some but they snapped when they were fitting the lenses and they didn't have more of that frame so now I need to chose another one - sigh :( Hopefully I'll get to go tomorrow.

Crommers, so sorry to hear about your school friend; and I totally agree - enjoy each day while you can. In the past week I heard of two people both quite young who have passed. One, the partner of someone I know via cat rescues - he was my age :( and the other was someone I had a lot of dealings with for work, never met him in person though. His company sent me an email directly saying he had passed suddenly and very unexpectedly on Friday last week - an absolute shock for everyone. Again he wasn't much older than me

So yes, definitely take each day and embrace it; and treasure what you have whilst you can.

x

Afternoon all, not too bad a day here, there’s been some rain and it’s cold but the wind has gone. We’ve been to dance practice this morning, now waiting for Michael and Kellie to arrive. Kellie wasn’t so well yesterday, had a temperature but otherwise in reasonable form. They did an antigen test which was negative and she was feeling grand today so went into school. Miss Osc will collect them from here around 6pm.

Just back from the garden centre, I'm glad we went, but my ankle isn't so sure. About to put an ice pack on it.
