Congratulations on the new job! It sounds as if you'll be much happier there :)

Becky has just done something similar. Woods went back on their offer of the VNA post upstairs, as "She is too valuable on reception"  So she starts another job, at a much smaller privately owned practice, where they're going to train her up for theatre work, and to dispense meds, etc. She's really chuffed :)

Wise decision under the circs Shell, well done for acting upon this and I'm thrilled you seem so much happier already!! I'm a little jealous, I don't have your courage to leave, and I 'only' have a few years to work so I think I can stick it out.....think being the operative word!

Excellent news re B too Kaz!

Not at all Kaz. I’m pleased for B. She is young she has a career ahead of her hopefully.

My manager interviewed my replacement this afternoon and immediately offered her the job. To be honest he’d have offered the position to a blind one armed monkey

hopefully you'll still meet up with them. We've had a lot of people leave the company I work with, many I consider friends - and we actually socialise more now than we did when we were all working together

Huge congrats on the new job, it sounds amazing - so so pleased for you xxx

Thank you all so much I am really looking forward to it.

As I said to Tim last night, I may never been as happy as I have been at BMC but hopefully I will never be as sad either.

Cruiser I have 4 days holiday entitlement which I will be paid for and my NHS pension will be transferred. I have another 10 years to work until I retire
