You set yourself up to make half the stuff for the world and then do as you wish. Seems to work.
As for people constantly getting it? How many times did people get a bad cold in winter or spring, all over again. Yet nobody was tested to see if they had the "same" bad cold, all over again.
We need to stop testing unless someone is serious. Because this is simply never going away. The vulnerable have access to constant booster vaccines to keep them as safe as a vaccine can. The rest of us just need to get on with it.
The sad fact is that some people's immune systems simply forget viruses over time. They are way in the minority and the rest of us will carry on.
We saw this at new year. It confirms what we already knew but were not certain of. Mrs S had this back in Jan 20 and I gave it to her. I suffered 3 days of not being very well where I stayed away from work and got over it. Mrs S was really ill for a month. We took all the vaccines and never thought about it again. Until last New Year and Omicron. We went to two evenings with friends over that new year. Everyone who went to those evenings went down with Omicron, one after another like domino's. Except us. We didn't get ill and testing proved negative.
This fits with the observed evidence that an infection, followed by 3 vaccines, makes you almost invulnerable. Not totally but, within reason and middling exposure, protected. All the others had been triple vaccinated but had not had Covid.
OK I did a lot of research before we had the third, we'd both had AZ twice. I went for Moderna as a booster because all the evidence said it was a better fit for those who had been vaccinated with AZ.
I won't be having any more vaccinations unless there are restrictions if you don't. As far as I'm concerned they work and we're protected.
