Yes, it's dirty, but we need to do something to end this version of Conservatism.
They need the SNP and the SNP price will be some form of separation which gives the Tories way more power in Westminster. PR didn't make things better in Hollyrood, it made things less certain and left power with the politicians and not the people. The only democracy that works the way everyone expects it to is direct democracy. But if you have direct democracy you don't need much of a government because the people themselves are directly involved.
This is not very popular with the people, they want someone else to do the dirty work then complain about how they didn't "get a vote" every time something contentious happens.
If it is what the people want, fine. But they really should want it because the second it is implemented the politicians will never allow that much power to be removed from them again.
