Just to make things clear....
Shaz and Suff both realise, hopefully, that I have been playing Devil's Advocate or WUM (Wind Up Merchant) on this - take your pick.
I have done so so that any passing Scots who will be voting Yes do it for the right reasons; and both Shaz and Suff have provided plenty of them. My worry, right at the beginning, was that there was a lot of Flew'r o' Scotlan' out there and not so much cogent argument. As time has passed that sort of emotion has been overtaken somewhat, though it is still there. And nobody, as yet, has squared the circle of independence and joining the EU. Ah well, we can't win 'em all.
If Scotland votes Yes, and does it for the right reasons, I hope that rUK, and Scotland, both behave in an adult manner and that ties remain as close as they can. I live in hope.
Vote "No" is still my call and that is what I would do if I had a vote.
